Obscura Mint Plaza Building Projection – 7 HD projectors over a 6000 pixel plate
25 Comments · Posted by admin in Pocket Projectors
So this was a really sweet project. Ricky and the boys hoisted 5 20K Christies up to the 4th floor upper group overlooking the plaza. The other two were stacked away on the ground and off at a 40 degree angle from the less vital construction. We modeled the full space in 3D and then made media for it in 3DSMax. Very cool. The media we made was designed to work frankly with the architecture and corresponding to a music track made by our own Alex Oropeza. Some of the new guys did some really incredible work with the media, and the FireFrame software did the trick by synchronizing and amalgamation all the projectors and decent it perfectly with the ancient SF Mint construction. The project was commissioned by one of our clients, McAfee, who are fantastic to work with and really creative. Anyhow, the project was incredible and may tour. Stand by.
